The Iron Man by Ted Hughes forms the basis for this literacy-based topic. Exploring character and plot the children will analyse the text and write stories and descriptions and poems. With a link to science the children will investigate electricity and circuits. Sex Education is taught in this half-term and reviews growth to puberty, differences and the human life cycle.
