We are the oldest children in school and we take our responsibilities seriously. We work hard and play hard!
Welcome to Bees, Butterflies, and Dragonflies Y6 page!
We would like to take this opportunity to wish the year 6 children all the best for secondary school. They should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved during their time at Jubilee Wood. We will miss you all!
The children have been learning about recycling and reused plastic to make bags. They were weaving strips to create their own unique design.
The children have been learning about how to stay safe in the home and the local environment. They visited Hazard Alley where they got the opportunity to deal with situations, learning about the best action to take.
Y6 have started investigating how sounds are made and what affects the volume of sound. Attached are a few photos of our first experiment. Does the distance of a drop affect the volume of the sound made?
Year 6 have been learning about classification. They organised classification diagrams to sort liquorice allsorts. They even got to eat them afterwards!
