World Book Day 4th March 2021
Enter the Jubilee Wood World Book Day Competition!
This year, for World Book Day we are having a book character competition. To enter, you need to find a way to celebrate a book character you love (or maybe a villain you love to hate!). The character can be from any book: one you have read at school, or at home. Make a presentation about your character. This can be in ANY form you like! It could be a poster or fact file, or a piece of artwork – a painting, collage or even a 3D model. You might like to make a costume, dress up as the character and take a photo of yourself. Please send your presentation to us in an email, so take a photo or scan it. Send it to your own teacher, using their school email address, and in the email, tell us who the character is and why you have chosen them. Children who are in school can take part too. The closing date for competition entries is Friday 12th March. There will be prizes for the best entries in each year group.
On Friday the 12th we will also be having a book character dress up day in school – so any child who dresses up will be able to enter the competition too.
