How Accessible is the Jubilee Wood School Environment?
The JW school site is wheelchair accessible with a disabled toilet large enough to accommodate changing. The infant area is all on one level. The junior blocks have two floors with lift access to the upper floors. Emergency call buttons are in place if anyone in a wheelchair needs help to quickly evacuate the building. If a child with a disability is to attend our school, we will meet with the parents and agree a medical care plan including emergency evacuation procedures. There will be full access to all areas of the curriculum with modified lessons and equipment if required.
